Combined Technology Solutions is one of 24 teams selected out of 144 chosen in October 2009 to compete in the Mainstream Class of the Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE 100 MPG Worldwide Challenge. As a small engineering and technology company out of Ridgely, Maryland, we have stepped up to the challenge of building a car for this competition that is clean, green, marketable to consumers, and production-capable that will exceed 100 MPGe. The competition will be held from May to September 2010, and will travel to different cities throughout the U.S. while holding several events to test the competitor’s vehicles. Our X PRIZE vehicle, a four-passenger Cadillac CTS, will not only achieve the highest fuel rating possible, we will also feature two breakthrough technologies created by our founder, Joseph Anderson. The 2010 Washington Auto Show is the first debut of our car and our team before the competition—we are extremely excited to be a part of it!
