Fleet Conference & Training

The Washington Auto Show will host the inaugural Fleet Conference & Training event during the show. The Show will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC and all Fleet Professionals who purchase, manage, administrate and service fleets of automobiles, SUVs, trucks, vans, and a wide range of specialized mobile equipment for government entities and private corporations are invited.
The Auto Show will provide these professionals with proactive networking and political forum, bringing Federal, State and municipal Fleet representatives along with private industry together to train, inform, problem solve and instruct on current fleet management policies, procedures and exchange of ideas, solutions and technology.
On average, each state purchases about $21 million in fleet and fleet related products annually for a combined annual purchasing power of about $1 billion in new vehicle purchases. When fuel, parts and commercial services are included, the annual purchases rise to between $2 and $2.5 billion. Collectively, the combined states own fleet assets in excess of $17.5 billion and circulate over one million fuel credit cards.
The federal government has over 650,000 vehicles in their fleet and is expected to purchase over 200,000 vehicles in the next year. The GSA will be hosting 25 training session for Federal Fleet Professional only over the three days of the event. Additionally, the Greater Washington Clean Cities Coalition will also host a number of training tracks for Fleet Professionals to participate in.
Who should attend? All government and private industry fleet professionals, or administrators, involved with decisions regarding their fleet financials, acquisition, operation, and safety, including driver safety.
