Attendees are encouraged to arrive early as Washington Auto Show has instituted a standard security policy for all show days at the center. Patrons will be subject to search and possible hand held metal detectors. All bags, briefcases, book bags or items similar in nature will be searched as patrons enter the arena.
The Washington Auto Show consults with local law enforcement agencies on a continual basis. Some of the security measures in place will be apparent to patrons and some will not.

The Washington Auto Show is located at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. The show opens Friday, January 27, 2012 and runs through Sunday, February 5, 2012.

Discounts (Cash Box Office Only)
Senior Citizens (65+) $2 off with ID ($10).
Military personnel: $2 off with valid military ID ($10).
To redeem discount, present any printed page from AutoTrader.com's website at the Washington Auto Show ticket booth.
Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012: All active duty and veteran military are FREE with valid military ID, or DD214 and photo ID.
Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 - Student Day: 50% off with valid student ID.
