"The Price is Right" is bringing black its glitzy guessing game to The Washington Auto Show, offering contestants a chance to win a Hyundai Sonata, loads of cash and an all-expense-paid trip to Los Angeles to watch a live taping of "The Price is Right." The Hyundai Sonata that's up for grabs is a loaded limited edition model with the works that has been made available by the Washington Area Hyundai Dealers.
Play "The Price is Right" with an in-person entry at The Washington Auto Show, where you'll submit your best estimate for the cost of the car and the expense for travel and lodging to see "The Price is Right" in sunny California. The drawing to find a winner will be held the final day of the Washington Auto Show, Sunday, Feb. 5. You can register inside the show at the Hyundai exhibit space.
"We are thrilled to return to The Washington Auto Show with this tremendous prize package and take pride in showcasing a vehicle that continues to command accolades and admiration among industry leaders and the driving public," said Don Reilly, owner of Fairfax and Alexandria Hyundai, on behalf of the Washington Area Hyundai Dealers.
Washington Auto Show Chairman and President of Sport Chevrolet/Honda Robert Fogarty also noted his pride in the contest: "We are so grateful for our longstanding partnership with the Washington Area Hyundai Dealers, enabling our show to generate enthusiasm about this excellent vehicle and trailblazing automaker."
Hyundai Motor America Executive Vice President of Sales Dave Zuchowski delivered the keynote address at The Washington Auto Show's Public Policy Day at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on Thursday, Jan. 27.
" In reviews of the Hyundai Sonata, the same theme is repeated over and over again: value," according to U.S. News & World Report, which named the Hyundai Sonata among its "Best Cars & Trucks." "The automotive press says that the Hyundai Sonata gives buyers a lot of standard features, like Bluetooth and USB input, interior room and style for the money. Its class-leading fuel economy numbers don't hurt its reputation, either."
And Automobile Magzine writes; "The new Sonata is at or near the top of its hyper-competitive class in a broad range of categories - some you might expect (low price, fuel economy, light weight) and some you might not (power, torque, interior space, and driving dynamics)."
The winner of The Washington Auto Show competition will win the new 2012 Hyundai Sonata, tickets to "The Price is Right" and lunch following the show along with the cash inside the vehicle plus airfare, hotel accommodations and ground transfers in Los Angeles.
The Washington Auto Show runs through Sunday, Feb. 5 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and is produced by the Washington Area New Automobile Dealers Association (WANADA), which represents more than 225 franchised new vehicle dealers and 75 related vendors in the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and Suburban Maryland.
This 70th edition of the show will present more than 700 vehicles from over 42 domestic and import manufacturers and a special 65,000-square foot exhibit, "The Advanced Technology SuperHighway" of the latest innovations in safety and sustainability.
