Monday, April 8 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Rock the Red at the Auto Show and meet Capitals’ Broadcaster Craig Laughlin and mascot Slapshot!

As the Washington Capitals’ television color commentator for nearly 30 years, Craig Laughlin has been a familiar face for multiple generations of hockey fans in the region. Prior to his broadcasting career, Laughlin spent eight years in the NHL. In the 1984-85 season, he was the second-highest scorer on the Capitals, notching 75 points as the team advanced to the Patrick Division Finals. Laughlin has been paired in the Capitals’ television booth with Joe Beninati since 1994, and has been awarded several regional Emmy awards for his work as a broadcaster. Laughlin and Beninati are one of the longest-tenured play-by-play duos in North American professional sports.
